About Mrs.Messick
Firstly, I would like to let you know how excited I am to be teaching at Middle Township Middle School for my SIXTH year! I am looking forward to see some new faces join us here at the middle school as well as faces we have seen before!
A little background about myself... I am a graduate of Middle Township High School. Born and raised in Cape May Court House! After graduation, I went on to playing college basketball at William Patterson University. After my first year, I transferred to Rowan University, where I continued my student athlete career and received my Bachelors Degree in Health and Exercise Science.
After graduating from college, I came back to my home town and became an Instructional Aide at Middle Township High School. This is where I found my love for the classroom and working with students with disabilities. I went back to school and received my certification of Teacher of Students with Disables. The rest is history! I have been teaching at the Middle School going on 6 years now, teaching all subjects from ELA, Science and Social Studies in all 3 grades (6th,7th,8th). I also coach the Middle School Girls Basketball team. (Info on team are in the tabs at the top of the screen!)
Again, I am thrilled to be back at MTMS and looking forward to another great school year!! If at any point you need anything, please do not hesitate to reach out to me!
